With 2,047 vertical feet of skiing on 64 named runs and three bowls, Solitude offers everything that skiers and snowboarders expect from one of Utah's premiere ski resorts, except for the crowded slopes and slow lift lines, which have been eliminated through Solitude's embracing of the Smart Card ticketing philosophy, doing away with the need for annoying lift tickets that have to be thrown away. And, being a distinctly family-oriented resort, Solitude makes sure that the whole family can enjoy the whole mountain, going so far as to make sure that even their terrain park is fun, accessible and ridable, to everyone from the beginning skier to the most advanced snowboarder.
Nordic Center
Solitude's Nordic Center provides an idyllic setting for those who wish to stretch their legs, breath some mountain air and get away from the slopes and the village. The 30 kilometers of scenic cross-country skiing, skate skiing and snowshoeing set around Silver Lake are the perfect way to enjoy the solitude and beauty of the Wasatch Range.
Club Solitude
Far from what you may expect from the name, Club Solitude gives friends and families yet another great way to enjoy each other's company after a long day of skiing. Complete with a theater, pool tables, hot tubs and a pool and special seasonal activities, Club Solitude is one more example of why Solitude is the place to go.
Essentials Spa
Since inner solitude can't be found while your body is tense and sore, the Essentials Spa at Solitude is ready to help you pamper your body once you've tired it out exploring the vibrant wilderness. Whether you need a massage, a facial or help rejuvenating your skin from the winter clime, Essentials can help. And, since it's always better to share an experience, Essentials' double room gives you the opportunity to treat yourself while spending time with an important other.
